Study Abroad in Japan - NILS

Objective

Short-term class lessons are designed for a learner whose purpose is to advance their skill of speaking and listening to Japanese in a short period of time.
Even beginners can start communicating in Japanese after one month of study with us! After three months, one's Japanese language skills will dramatically improve.
One can learn an assortment of phrases and expressions frequently used in everyday life and on the business scene in Japan. NILS is a school located in (Ogori City,*) Fukuoka which focuses on learning the Japanese language, offering various levels of classes.

 Hello, I am a French student of the short-term program and am staying 2 months at NILS. 

I must say that my experience here was great from the start, as just after being picked up at Fukuoka airport I was already brought to a festival held in Ogori City, where I could meet other new students and take part in the activities.

I believe my choice was correct, as I already had some conversation skills (I already worked 6 months in Tokyo), and preferred to concentrate more on grammar and vocabulary.
Attending Japanese classes is funny as it reminds me from high school, but with some particular cultural differences.

I think the level of the class I was assigned to is just right for me, even if I did not join it from the start and have a different background from most of the other students.  The teachers are all wonderful and I particularly like the fact they take turns to teach a class, as they each have their own qualities and it gives more variety to the lessons.  Ogori is a nice place to study as it is very calm.

My stay here is already coming to an end, and if I regret that I cannot stay more, I am very thankful to the school, its staff and all the students for that rewarding experience.

Daily Conversation	Beginners	Designed for the learners who want to study daily conversations in Japanese. Include more time for speaking than any other school. Learners can build up vocabulary, and can speak Japanese using correct grammar. Also included: activities so learners can experience the Japanese culture. Provided with more chances to communicate with Japanese people.	Expressions frequently used in daily life in Japan. Writing and reading all  Hiragana, Katakana, and some kanji (Chinese characters) Use of the  right words in the right situation. Expressions based on cultural backgrounds. Writing and reading more kanji.
	Intermediate
	Advanced		Express your own ideas and opinions. Writing e-mails and having discussions.
JLPT Preparation		Learners can build up comprehensive skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking.  Classes provide textbooks and workbooks appropriate for each level.  At the same time, learners can improve their communication skills in Japanese.	Pass JLPT. Communicate with Japanese people matching your level.

※Placement tests (written and oral) will be given to the student on the first day of the program in order to assign student into appropriate level of the class.
