Fukuoka – Place to see
Japan is rich in ancient history, with aged buildings, cultural landmarks,
older furniture, knick knacks, and homes found around every corner. Fukuoka,
though, has jumped to the other end of the scale and is considered to be
one of the most modern cities in Japan. Some of the buildings in the city
are new and are designed by architects who understand how to bring the best
out of the city.
Most of the people who live in the city are extremely friendly and are
willing to help a tourist find their way around. If you are just beginning
to learn Japanese, you may want to have your destination written down in
Japanese on a piece of paper so that you can get directions more easily.
