College visa

Students who wish to study for more than 1 year in an intensive program are required to apply for a college visa. We have a visa administrative process specialist who is authorized by the Japanese government to assist you, which is called "Gyousei-shosi" that means an immigration attorney in US.

NILS screens all documents by following the Japanese law and supporting each case according to the situation.

What is college visa?

College visa is a category within the documentation of the General visa. It is for full-time study in schools authorized by the "Association for the Promotion of Japanaese Language Education".

Conditions for applying Vaild passport
Educated 12 years of general education or above
Duration Maximum 2 years
Working conditions Permitted part time job for 28 hours a week during semester
Permitted part time job for 8 hours a day while you are on long-term vacations
Attendance ratio should be more than 90%
Profibited any working place related to sex industry

Visa process : Time schedule

There are two main steps in order to be obtained a college visa.
First step: NILS applies for a "Certificate of Eligibilty" on behalf of the student.
Second step; The student applies for pre-college visa in their home country after being granted a Certificate of Eligibility.
